TALES OF THE TREE
St Moritz – Light & Videomapping Show
For three consecutive years, the façade of St Moritz Town Hall lit up during the holiday season.
Each edition featured two show segments: a photographic narrative retracing the history of the city and its sporting heritage, and a playful animated film.
At the center, a monumental Christmas tree — hanging on the façade, as obvious as a nose on a face — became the axis of all the narratives.
A festive and slightly tongue-in-cheek landmark that set the tone for the entire show.These creations were presented and displayed for around 30 days.
Un véritable arbre, fixé à la façade de l'hôtel de ville, occupe le devant de la scène dans "Tales of a Tree", une installation lumineuse commandée par la ville de Saint-Moritz pour les fêtes de fin d'année 2019/20/21.
An actual tree, mounted to the facade of the town hall, takes center stage in "Tales of a Tree", a light installation commissioned by the city of St.Moritz for the 2020 holiday season.
